About Me

I was born in Preston, England, in the early sixties, and studied Chemistry at Bradford University.  After graduation I worked in the software industry developing and implementing computer systems for UK Business and International Banking.

Much of my working life was spent away from the UK, I was privileged to work in such exotic locations as Bangkok, Luxembourg, the Vatican, and Warsaw.  I really enjoyed the work, the travel, and the lifestyle.

After more than twenty years experience hacking computer systems, my last contract finished in late 2004.  Time for a change of pace.

About My Site

My first website, posted online in 1999 was a single page of my favourite links, my "bookmarks" for use in an Internet cafe.  Since then my site has been expanded considerably to include additional content, photographs and travel tips.
